Hedberg and Son started doing business in 1978. At the time, I was the only employee and worked for residential customers in both roofing and insulation. There was no son involved and the business was called Hedberg Construction.

The business grew steadily through 1984. My son, Don, expressed an interest in the business after school. The business then became Hedberg and Son. We developed an outstanding reputation over the years for quality workmanship, reliability and service, before, during and after the sale.

We have used the same roofing wholesaler since 1978 as well as many other long term vendors. This speaks for not only the longevity of the company, but the quality and importance of long term business relationships.

The most important asset of Hedberg and Son is our employees. We have fourteen employees, most of which are long term (seven or more years). This is fairly uncommon in the roofing business as most companies have a very high turnover rate. We treat our employees with the respect they deserve for working in a field where the work is hard and they are subjected to extreme weather conditions. We receive complements on a regular basis for the appearance and the courteous demeanor of our employees. They are the reason Hedberg and Son is able to rely on repeat customers and word of mouth to keep us in work year around for years in the past and I'm confident for years to come.
